As everywhere, fraudulent SMS messages exist.
Be particularly wary of messages claiming to come from:
- a bank;
- a service provider;
- an administration;
- a delivery service;
- a well-known platform
and asking you to click on a link immediately.
Vietnamese operators are actually strengthening their identification procedures to reduce the use of anonymous or fraudulent SIM cards.
