The exemption certificate can also be requested by a foreigner who is:
the spouse
or
the child
of a Vietnamese citizen or a Vietnamese residing abroad.
Documents to demonstrate the relationship include:
- marriage certificate;
- birth certificate;
- proof of lineage;
- adoption decision;
or other documents accepted by regulations.
