In September 2026, French citizens holding a regular passport can enter Vietnam without a visa for a stay of up to 45 days, provided they meet the entry requirements.
This exemption is part of the Vietnamese policy regarding 12 nationalities and is currently scheduled until March 14, 2028.
This is extremely convenient for:
- discovering the country;
- looking for accommodation;
- visiting several cities;
- meeting schools or businesses;
- checking if Vietnam truly matches your project.
But be careful
A 45-day exemption primarily constitutes a right of entry and temporary stay.
