11. Can we have an account in euros or dollars?

Foreign currency accounts exist in Vietnam.

Vietcombank indicates, for example, that it offers current accounts in VND or in foreign currencies.

This can be interesting for some people who regularly receive money from abroad.

But this does not mean that you will be able to freely use your euros to pay for your daily purchases.

For daily life in Vietnam, the VND remains the central currency.
